About the job
As a Senior Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for the entire design process, from concept creation and mood boards to the final realization of our collections. You have a keen eye for trends and are able to translate these into stylish, wearable, and commercially successful designs. In this role, you will work closely with other designers, product development, marketing, and sales teams to ensure our collections are visually striking and functionally on-point. Responsibilities
- Develop creative and innovative fashion collections for [seasons/annual lines].
- Design garments that align with the brand identity, commercial goals, and consumer needs.
- Create mood boards, color palettes, fabric choices, and technical sketches.
- Collaborate with the production team to translate designs into prototypes and final products.
- Oversee the quality and production of the collection, ensuring timely delivery of designs.
- Analyze market and consumer trends to ensure relevance and demand for the collection.
- Support the marketing department in presenting the collection, both online and offline.
- Prepare and present designs to stakeholders, including executives, clients, and suppliers.
- Ensure brand vision and image are maintained throughout the design process.
Dit is wie je bent
- At least 5 years of experience as a fashion designer, preferably in a senior role at a fashion brand or clothing company.
- A strong portfolio showcasing diverse collections and designs that demonstrate creativity and technical skill.
- Extensive knowledge of fashion production, fabrics, patterns, and the technical aspects of garment design.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of aesthetics, trends, and consumer preferences.
- Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers, managing the production process.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Creative yet commercially-minded, with the ability to design collections that resonate in the market.
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and guide a design team.
