KLABU is building the world’s biggest club. Powering sports for young athletes in refugee camps and beyond with KLABU clubhouses.
(Junior) Sportswear Manager bij KLABU
KLABU powers sports for refugees by building sports clubs in refugee camps. KLABU is also a fast-growing sportswear brand with a strong community of fans and supporters around the world. Half of the profits from our sportswear sales go to the KLABU Foundation to build and maintain our sports clubs. The other half is reinvested into our brand to grow our impact.
About the job
You will manage everything that is related to the sales and operations of our sportswear: this means that you will be in charge of our webshop, our teamwear, our store, selected wholesale partnerships and collaborations. You will work closely with our designer, developer, with our store manager and marketing team. It’s a super exciting role in a small team!
Your responsibilities include:
- Organising and managing all KLABU sportswear collections
- Working closely with the product developer and creative director on the creation of new products
- Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities for KLABU sportswear, including by developing our teamwear business and building strong relationships with key clients such as sports clubs
- Expanding and overseeing webshop sales and operations
- Expanding and overseeing store sales and operations, including by leading the Amsterdam store team
- Managing product collaborations
- Working closely with the marketing team on (digital) campaigns

You want to manage our sportswear collections, work with our designer and developer, work on the growth of our sportswear business, expand our customer base through our webshop and Amsterdam store, and spearhead our entry into the teamwear market for sports clubs. You enjoy creating opportunities and building a team bottom up. You are super hands on, proactive, well organised and flexible, and have a strong unbeatable spirit which is much needed in a young and ambitious organisation. All combined with a passion for making a difference in the lives of refugees.
Your skills and experience
- You have a strong hands-on and can do mentality
- You have excellent communication skills
- You are results driven. Willing to build a strong business to support refugees.
- You are super organised
- You have a demonstrable interest in both refugee cause and sports, fashion and contemporary culture
- You are self-motivated and can work autonomously but also collaborate with a diverse range of people
- You have at least 2 years of experience in retail - preferably in the sportswear or apparel industry
- You are available to work from our store/clubhouse/office in Amsterdam, combination with hybrid working is possible.
- You are available to work fulltime.
