Maak kennis met Thunderdome
It all started with a couple of friends with a curious mind for this new thing... called house music. They organized a New Year’s Eve party in a small village near Amsterdam for just a few hundred guests and got the hang of it. Several months later, The Final Exam took place on June 20, 1992 in Jaarbeurs Utrecht. This was the start of a phenomenon.
In the early 90’s Thunderdome created a new house culture with a series of events and CD-albums. With a peak performance in the mid 90’s, Thunderdome took the world by storm. After many successful years, the 2012 edition marked the end of Thunderdome. However, the legendary Thunderdome event was resurrected on public demand in 2017 for its 25th anniversary. The 2019 edition that followed broke all records as the biggest indoor dance event of Europe with a staggering amount of 50.000 visitors, all under one roof. The 2021 edition was sold out within 2 hours. The year 2022 was another milestone in the history of Thunderdome, as we celebrated 30 years of hardcore.
This year, December 13 and 14 Thunderdome will be back at Sportpalei Antwerp to celebrate Hardcore at its best!
