D.O.L.HOUSE is a creative agency. Full-service from concept till execution. Strong in creation for events, brand activations, and marketing campaigns. We work together in a small team at our office at the Westergas in the center of Amsterdam. D.O.L.HOUSE is the creative and marketing agency for Milkshake Festival, but also has other clients such as Superstruct, Stadsdeel West, Fred & Friends, For All Who Love Foundation and Table For Ten. Alongside this, D.O.L.HOUSE also produces and develops in-house event concepts.

About Milkshake Festival Milkshake is an electronic dance festival that has been developed from the mindset ‘everything is possible’ and shows that entertainment, music choice, choice of clothing and status has nothing to do with gender identity or sexuality.

We are working towards global unity, love, peace, and acceptance. Our intention is to create and give a platform to (performance) artists that belong to underrepresented groups that are not yet fully accepted in our society. About the job

Your contributions as Marketing Manager for Milkshake Festival will play a pivotal role in achieving D.O.L.HOUSE's yearly goals. Your main responsibility is to oversee the end-to-end marketing of all D.O.L.HOUSE productions, with a focus on Milkshake Festival. You will be the main point of contact for external suppliers and collaborators such as stagehosts, paid advertising specialists et cetera. 

  • Manage all social media accounts for Milkshake Festival (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
  • Creation of new content for all social media channels
  • Manage the Milkshake Festival Website
  • Copywriting for: all social media channels and email marketing of Milkshake Festival 
  • Be accountable for the long-term vision and growth of all (social) channels.
  • Implementation and evaluation of brand and marketing strategies that align with the planning of various events, ensuring that goals and targets are met.
  • Generate reports on the progress of different marketing strategies and analyze when targets can be achieved.
  • Share marketing insights and knowledge with the D.O.L.HOUSE team.
  • Oversee, manage, and assess strategic media partnerships.
  • Oversee, manage, and assess all paid advertising.
  • Manage all marketing budgets.
  • Implement and assess data and marketing intelligence strategies, as well as CRM strategies, including tooling.
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities and productivity of marketing tasks, setting deadlines, targets, and implementing plans, processes, and guidelines as needed.
  • Foster a positive work environment characterized by motivation, inspiration, openness, and effective teamwork.

  • You have a minimum of two years of work experience in senior marketing management, senior digital marketing, or brand management.
  • You have proven experience in managing multiple social media channels, curating content and growing the accounts in line with a long-term strategy.
  • You are creative in your writing, proficient in both Dutch and English, with proven experience in copywriting for social media and press releases.
  • You are friendly and open-minded, well-aware of current developments in the queer community, you have a deep understanding of the Milkshake community.
  • You are a skilled team builder who is keen on collaborating. 
  • You are experienced in handling and managing budgets for your department.
  • You can focus on both detailed work and long-term strategies.
  • You exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
  • You are analytical and strategic in your approach; you can create a 360 marketing strategy based on market developments and trend insights.
  • You are passionate about live entertainment and festivals.
  • A plus: you are skilled in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and or After Effects.
