From our office in Amsterdam, GEA Live designs, produces and distributes live entertainment inspired by and in collaboration with beloved brands and IPs. Projects range from TV shows, Film and Music, with its focus on Gaming and Anime, including Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert, Demon Slayer in Concert, Dirty Dancing In Concert and Twilight In Concert, among many others.

As a Sony Music Entertainment Company, GEA Live has the capability to bring hundreds of shows to life each year in any corner of the globe, with the US being the focus market.

About the job

As the Associate Producer at GEA Live, you will play a pivotal role in bringing creative visions to life by supporting the Production Team in supervising all technical productions. Working closely with the GEA Live team and an international network of vendors, you will oversee multiple productions at various stages, from inception to performance. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the technical production aspects of each project are executed flawlessly. In this role, you will report to the Senior Associate Producer.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Production Management & Vendor Coordination – Assist in negotiating and contracting (major) technical vendors while maintaining daily communication and supervision.
  • Oversee Technical & Creative Production Needs – Ensure technical requirements align with creative direction, including the creation and delivery of Riders, Technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Logistics & Scheduling Support – Help plan and oversee logistics, including trucking, carnets, site visits, technical studies, rehearsals and scheduling for smooth execution.
  • Administrative & Resource Management – Maintain and update resource workbooks, create production overviews, and track project deliverables.
  • Talent & Crew Coordination – Assist in hiring, contracting, and scheduling external Production Managers, Company Managers, talent and crew.
  • Production Advancing & On-Site Supervision – Work with touring production managers who advance all shows with local promoters and provide live troubleshooting for production matters.
Dit is wie je bent
  • Possess at least 2 years of experience in producing large-scale events and touring properties, preferably within the entertainment industry.​
  • Have experience dealing with technical production, design, logistics, and staging for theater, concerts, or similar ticketed events.​
  • Demonstrate the ability to take direction and prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.​
  • Exhibit excellent relationship-building and influencing skills; personable with outstanding communication abilities.​
  • Demonstrate a "can-do" attitude, strong accountability, and a willingness to go the extra mile for excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively and radiate positive energy, contributing to a vibrant team environment.
  • Understand the culture of the entertainment industry and maintain a fun, friendly, and professional demeanor.​
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Apps for Business.​
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is not mandatory).​
  • Available full-time and on-site in the Amsterdam office for at least 4 days per week.​
  • Hold a Dutch residence and/or work permit.​
