And those real people are indeed on Instagram all day, but they don’t know what an acai bowl is. Or HIIT. Or Daily Paper. And so the stuff we make is creative and modern, but also understandable for everyone. Simple but not stupid.

Truus is a sort-of new advertising agency and we make advertising for real people. This means we make advertising for more than just big city hipsters, because the brands we love working for (Netflix, KFC, Sixt, Cinekid and more) have mainstream audiences. And those real people are indeed on Instagram all day, but they don’t know what an acai bowl is. Or HIIT. Or Daily Paper. And so the stuff we make is creative and modern, but also understandable for everyone. Simple but not stupid. We recently won a SAN New Kid on the Block award, so that’s nice.
About the job
We are looking for an Experienced Project Manager to help us manage the work we do for some of the coolest brands in the Netherlands. And we're gonna stop you right there; the word 'Experienced' is there for a reason. We support you young ones, but at the moment we are only interested in people with calluses, war stories and real work experience in advertising, television or other creative agencies - sorry!
Dit is wie je bent
The position is not very different from what you are used to: you will be responsible for the planning, budgets and completion of major projects; for a handful of clients. Together with our team of account, producers and project managers you will help plan in resources, check if the deadline can be pushed a couple of days (or more) and ensure that all 34 videos delivered by the client are perfectly marked on Dropbox so that the creative team can find them, etc. Because we are a small and new agency, your work will be versatile, intense and chaotic. But because you're a control freak (in a fun way) you will help bring order to the chaos, keep close contact with our clients while not being a jerk and be patient with creatives as they can be a bit too ambitious at times. In short - you will be the glue that keeps a project together. We don't really care how old you are, or what education you've had, or where you come from. You're either good at building a cracking schedule or not. It's great if you're a little different from others, because that makes us a nicer company.
