Fosbury & Sons is an exclusive membersclub in the heart of Amsterdam. A place where people love to go to every single day. We offer workspaces, meetingrooms, a curated Fosbury shop, event spaces / calendar, Art Exhibitions and an in-house restaurant; with high-end selected ingredients thoughtfully picked from the local greengrocer and Lindenhoff.
About the job
You are passionate about Food & Beverage and love to provide the best possible service to your guests Your mission:
- You love being proactive & take the lead
- Ensuring that our members & guests are pampered every day in every way possible;
- Create a great hospitality team with experience who can lift the restaurant every day;
- Flexible working hours where it is okay to work occasionally in evenings or weekends;
- Work closely with the chef and the other team members;
- Lead of the hospitality (restaurant) team
- Take initiative in improving our service every day;
- No is not a word that you have in your vocabulary;
- A hands-on mentality it what you have and how you can motivate your colleagues;
- Hard worker who is not averse to getting his hands dirty;
- You are the master of small talk and you can engage easily with people;
- You keep up with the trends on Food and Beverage and can apply the right ones in the company; support the community manager with the organization of the monthly event program for all members;
- Work with our event manager to make all events a success and be the communicator between front end and kitchen;

- You’re a natural person who can enthuse others. Your commercial mind-set comes from within.
- You are an administrative genius. You are dealing with the back office everyday.
- By example banqueting invoices, reporting the day turnover, buying, stock control and staff scheduling,
- 2 years experience in the hotel, restaurant, event, or hospitality industry. You’re hands-on, and can devise and realize solutions.
- You value lifestyle, design, art & culture.
- You’re fluent in Dutch and English, both oral and written.
- You live in Amsterdam or close by.
