GEA Live is on the lookout for a Production Coordinator. GEA Live is a boutique company in Amsterdam that specialises in developing and producing large-scale live entertainment concepts. Their tours take place in concert halls, theatres and large arenas around the world with a focus on Europe, United Kingdom, North-America and Australia.
From our office in Amsterdam, GEA Live designs, produces and distributes live entertainment inspired by and in collaboration with beloved brands and IPs. Projects range from TV shows, Film and Music, with its focus on Gaming and Anime, including Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert, Demon Slayer in Concert, Dirty Dancing In Concert and Twilight In Concert, among many others.
As a Sony Music Entertainment Company, GEA Live has the capability to bring hundreds of our shows to life each year in any corner of the globe, with the US being our focus market.
About the job
In this role you will be responsible to oversee the production of GEA’s Live touring productions. You supervise and oversee the production of our live shows from ideation to stage. This is a crucial role for an experienced candidate with hands-on past experience in complex (technical) production processes, scheduling, logistics, creative ideation and budget management. In this role you will be reporting to the Executive Producer.
As the Production Coordinator:
- You will oversee the production aspects of our touring productions on a day to day basis;
- You will develop scope & deliverables between GEA vendors, creative team members, performers and touring personnel and technical crews
- You will keep track of deadlines and budget targets for project delivery (creative/design, (technical) production, logistics, hospitality, tour personnel)
- You negotiate and conclude agreements with project suppliers and/or free lancers (such as sound, light, video-crew, etc.)
- You will create and distribute schedules for touring companies
- You will create and distribute production riders and other tour production resources
- You will look after guest lists, house seats and complimentary ticket needs and requests

- You have several years of experience in production supervision of large-scale events and touring properties. Ideally, you have a proven track-record in a similar position for an entertainment company
- You have previous experience dealing with artists, (technical) crews, sound, light, video and staging companies for theater, concerts or similar ticketed events.
- You are a people’s person and possess outstanding communicative skills
- You demonstrate the ability to take direction and prioritise while juggling multiple projects at the same time and in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- You are proactive and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills
- You possess excellent relationship-building and influence skills. You are personable and trustworthy
- You are a self-starter who takes full responsibility and ownership of the tasks before them
- You understand the culture that comes with the entertainment industries and possess a ‘fun’, friendly and professional demeanour
- You are fluent in English (Dutch is not mandatory)
- You are available full-time and available on-site in the Amsterdam office for at least 4 days per week (Friday is work-from-home-office-day)
- You are proficient in excel, powerpoint, word and google apps for business
