About the job
As the Revenue Manager you are part of the revenue team and responsible of the revenue management, distribution strategy of Kimpton de Witt and manage day to day yield operations both in rooms and food & beverage. You will support the Regional Director of Revenue in developing and optimising the overall revenue stream and profitability of the hotel, including initiating new revenue opportunities. The Revenue Manager is overall responsible for formulating long and short-term revenue management strategies and oversees successful execution towards the improvement of Revpar and RGI. You will be responsible for pricing strategies based on future demand forecasts, competitive benchmark studies, current trends and historical data. You work continuously in liaison with hotel sales and reservations teams including the online marketing department to ensure all actions, procedures, strategies and relevant systems are aligned at all times, especially but not limited to the strategy for all 3rd party distribution channels. You provide daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested and oversees a continuous dynamic forecasting process. Furthermore you play a key role in the preparation of the annual budgets and setting up strategic business plans.
What can you expect
- Develop an overall hotel pricing strategy
- Formulate retail pricing structure, provide guidance on corporate transient
- negotiated pricing, group pricing for each group, wholesale pricing and acceptance.
- Manage inventory and pricing in all distribution channels
- Responsible for preparation of forecast and annual budget process
- Strong analytical capabilities to review, understand and formulate strategy changes based on the extensive reporting
- Closely monitor competitor market behaviour and understand impact of pricing decisions on property performance.
- Pro-actively identify soft spots and prepare action plan in cooperation with Sales and Marketing.

Do you have
- Previous experience in hotel revenue management
- Relevant degree in Hospitality or Economics/Statistics/Mathematics
- Strong Communication skills to communicate market direction to the business development team and other stakeholders.
- A strong knowledge in the English language (Dutch language preferred, not required)
- Knowledge in excel, yield & inventory system
- An analytical approach to problem solving and demonstrated ability to “think outside of the box”
