Events Manager bij TicketSwap
TicketSwap is on a mission to become the world’s favourite platform for fans to buy and sell tickets for their favourite music, sports, comedy and theatre events. With over 6 million users in 36 countries, TicketSwap’s goal is to provide a safe, secure and fair way for fans to experience their favourite artists, festivals, sports teams and more! We’re looking for a calm, organised and improvising Events Manager who shares our ambition in elevating the TicketSwap brand to assert itself as one of the most recognisable and credible brands within the global live events industry. About the job
- Execute and manage all B2B and B2C events for the company, from budgeting and storyboarding to location management, design, production logistics, equipment and prop hire, staff sourcing, travel and accommodation, visas, catering, on-site facilities management and talent management;
- Manage all event activations where the company is considered a sponsor, including festivals, club nights, artist showcases and other outdoor events;
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure we achieve a ‘best-in-class’ standard visually and experientially for all our events, as well as appropriate media and digital coverage;
- Create and manage the company’s events calendar, incorporating input from partnerships and marketing on seasonal and commercial priorities;
- Innovate on new event opportunities for the company to engage in direct-to-fan moments, including meet-and-greets, pop-up activations, exclusive fan performances and more;
- Negotiate and manage contracts with venues and suppliers;
- Coordinate all event related payments with the finance team, to ensure all vendors are paid in a timely manner;
- Work closely with the legal team to ensure all events meet governmental, health and safety, police, fire, and licensing requirements, including completing any necessary documentation or certification;
- Evaluation and reporting success of all events in line with the set objectives and KPIs.

You’ll thrive in a diverse team of outspoken personalities who are all about teamwork, collaboration and encouragement, but are also comfortable working autonomously. You’re an imaginative thinker and enjoy using your improvisation to find solutions to complex challenges, whether it’s a last minute venue cancellation or solving travel logistics. Away from the office, you’ve got a passion for live events, whether it’s sports, music, theatre, comedy or festivals, and you’re constantly looking for ways to use your experience as a fan to ideate new, fun activations. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience planning and executing both indoor and outdoor events for B2B & B2C audiences;
- Knowledge of how to create budgeting processes and tracking is required;
- Fluency in English, Dutch and at least one other language is preferred, notably French, German or Spanish;
- You’re organised, can manage your time effectively and think on your feet;
- Available and flexible to international travel, sometimes at short notice;
- A driving license is required for this position;
- (Previous experience of work in either the entertainment, sports, fashion or technology space is highly desired);
- (An affinity with either live music or sports events is a welcome bonus);
- (An understanding of licensing, police and fire requirements across Europe is a welcome bonus).
