About the job
This is a full-time on-site role as store manager at decor Amsterdam. as the store manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing store staff and inventory, implementing retail loss prevention strategies, and maintaining effective communication with both customers and team members.
Responsibilities:
- overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness;
- ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service;
- managing and leading store staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations;
- managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks;
- implementing and monitoring retail loss prevention strategies;
- maintaining effective communication with customers to ensure their needs are met;
- collaborating with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive work environment.

- proven customer satisfaction and customer service skills.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- experience in store management and retail loss prevention.
- strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- knowledge of interior design and home decor trends.
- ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
- fluency in Dutch and English is preferred.
