About the job
Are you passionate about music and nightlife? Do you have a knack for crafting engaging content, driving online engagement, and celebrating artists? If you're ready to dive into the vibrant worlds of Future House Music and The Myth of NYX, we want you to join our team of ten as Social Media Manager & Marketing Assistant!
We're looking for a creative thinker who's excited to create and publish social media content on all of our online platforms and promote our artists and music in the best possible ways. You'll be responsible for all of our socials, community management and copywriting. Our fans will get to see your work on a daily basis. On top of that, you'll work closely with artists and managers to market and promote the music they've entrusted us with.
You’ll enjoy a combination of work-from-home on together with flexible office days. If you would like to use the company’s equipment at the office, you’re welcome to drop by. Nevertheless you’ll fully experience what it’s like to work in a team with our current music department and you’ll enjoy multiple moments of contact a day, SCRUM sprints, daily stand-ups, general meetings and personal calls, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Wizardry: Craft compelling and creative social media content that resonates with our audience, showcasing the best of Future House Music and The Myth of NYX.
- Engagement Guru: Engage with our online and offline community, responding to comments, messages, and sparking conversations that keep the party going.
- Campaign Connoisseur: Plan and execute advertisement campaigns to promote events, artists, and special occasions, both online and offline with the help of advertisements.
- Analytics Extraordinaire: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to make data-driven decisions that boost our online impact.
- Copy Composer: Crafting persuasive and compelling written content with the aim of engaging audiences, driving desired actions, and effectively conveying a brand's message or value proposition.
- Collaboration Champion: Work closely with our artists and in-house teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
Dit is wie je bent
- Can start on the 1st of November 2023 (or later).
- Preferably live in/near the Dutch city of Rotterdam, or able to travel to Rotterdam.
- Resident of The Netherlands or holder of a work permit for the Netherlands/EU (you don't require VISA sponsorship).
- Degree in Music, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media (all major platforms), music marketing or related fields, with a profound passion for electronic dance music and its culture.
- Experienced with social media advertising and able to provide expertise on this.
- Personal or work experience with community management through Discord.
- Can write compelling copy for press releases, captions and pitches for playlist curators.
- Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with the organization's goals and target audience.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with the online community to build relationships and foster positive interactions.
- Plan and execute social media marketing campaigns, including paid advertising, contests, and promotions, to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Use social media analytics tools to track and measure the performance of social media campaigns, report on key metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct research to understand the target audience's preferences, behaviors, and demographics to tailor content and messaging effectively.
- Ensure brand consistency across all social media channels, adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining a cohesive online presence.
- Flexibility to work when social media posts go live through-out the week.
- Bonus: Are comfortable with programs like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premier and able to create and edit creative content yourself
