GEA Live is a boutique company in Amsterdam that is specialized in developing and producing large-scale live entertainment concepts. Our tours take place in concert halls, theatres and large arenas around the world with a focus on Europe, United Kingdom, North-America and Australia.
GEA Live has collaborated with some of the largest names on the planet. Collaborations included the tours of legendary film composer Ennio Morricone, Giorgio Moroder, James Newton Howard and an orchestra tour of Elvis in Concert hosted by Priscilla Presley. Current and upcoming tours include a USA tour of Dirty Dancing in Concert, Johnny Cash’ Concert Experience and an in-concert version of Avatar in Concert and Spiderman Live in Concert.
About the job
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Data management: maintain and organize financial databases, which includes day to day data entry for touring productions, evidence checks and ensuring data accuracy for financial reporting
- Documentation and reporting: support and assist in the preparation of business and financial reports and documentation
- Risk management & compliance support: participate in activities related to ensuring compliance with business and financial regulations, company policies and procedures
You will be reporting to the Financial Director and the Managing Director.
Dit is wie je bent
- Minimum HBO level in accounting or business administration
- 1-2 years relevant experience
- Experience with Excel and Word, experience with SAP is a plus
- Work actively and closely with cross-functional teams and departments, fosterincollaboration and gaining exposure to different aspects of the business
- A strong personality, able to work independently with minimal supervision, but also able to work and collaborate as part of a team and work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- It is preferred that excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must
- You’re a self-starter who takes full responsibility and ownership of the tasks before them
- You understand the culture that comes with the entertainment industries and possess a ‘fun’, friendly and professional demeanor
- You’re available full-time and available on-site in the Amsterdam office for at least 4days per week (1 day home office)
