KLABU is building the world’s biggest club. Powering sports for young athletes in refugee camps and beyond with KLABU clubhouses.
Marketing & Content Creation Intership at KLABU
KLABU uses the power of sport and community to support refugees who are rebuilding their lives. We are a unique combination of an NGO and a brand. Through our NGO we build sports clubhouses in refugee camps that are hubs for play, wellbeing, education, and entrepreneurship. Through our brand, we create and sell sportswear to raise funds and build a strong community of supporters. The goal: to reach 2+ million refugees in 2030 by actively running 50+ KLABU sports clubhouses in refugee camps, and becoming the biggest club in the world.
About the job
You will assist the KLABU Marketing / Communications team on different marketing and communications activities, depending on your skillset and interest. This could include assisting on:
- Creating awesome KLABU-proof communications assets for socials, website and newsletter: this can be through graphic design, video, photo and/or writing, depending on your skillset and interest
- KLABU’s day-to-day marketing activities
- Managing KLABU’s communications including newsletters, website, and social media (Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter)
- Managing the customer journey for every marketing campaign from first touchpoint to conversion via website or online shop
- Executing marketing campaigns
- Liaising with media (including press releases)
- Collaborating closely with digital and creative agencies, ambassadors, influencers, and freelancers to execute marketing and comms strategies
- Organizing events in the Amsterdam KLABU store (social nights, launches) together with the store managers
This is also an opportunity to potentially grow into a permanent (employment) role at KLABU - several of our current team members have started their careers at KLABU as an intern.
