NEW MARKET zoekt Communications Manager

We represent various international mid- and high-end fashion brands, such as Baum und Pferdgarten, Lala Berlin, Modström, and Sessùn in the Dutch market.
About the job
We are seeking a Communications Manager. As the Communications Manager, you are the driving force behind our public presence and brand communication. With your proactive attitude and strategic mindset, you ensure our messaging resonates across all channels. Your strong relationship-building skills and creativity make you an expert at pitching tailor-made concepts, managing press relationships, and ensuring impactful collaborations.
With a natural flair for organization and detail, you oversee our PR calendar, loan management, and event planning, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise in influencer marketing and community building helps amplify our brand presence, while your polished and professional representation makes you a key ambassador of our vision. Passionate about storytelling and results-driven, you are ready to make a lasting impact on our communications strategy. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love fashion, and you have a minimum of 3 years of field experience as PR or Communications Manager, this is the role for you!
The Job
- You are the face of the Communications division. You maintain Public Relations, attend relevant events, and actively engage in lobbying.
- You are proactive in pitching tailor-made concepts for collaborations, events, social media campaigns, retail marketing, and branding.
- You are responsible for sample loan management and targeting, you track loans in performance overviews.
- You oversee the PR and Communications agenda—keeping press files distribution lists, and press releases up to date.
- You write press releases, collaborate with the Art Director, and follow up on press releases in a targeted manner. You process monthly results from these press releases in reports.
- You are responsible for Influencer Marketing and Community Building for the brands.
- You organize press days and events in collaboration with the Art Director and process the results in event reports and clippings summaries.

- Relationship management: Important for building and maintaining strong connections with the press, influencers, and external partners.
- Planning and prioritization: To effectively coordinate and manage the PR calendar, loan management, and event organization.
- Problem-Solving skills: Needed to tackle challenges quickly and creatively, such as in influencer marketing or unexpected situations during events.
- Target-driven mindset: To achieve measurable results in PR, influencer marketing, and community building.
- Professional representation: As the face of the communications department, a professional and fashion-conscious appearance is essential, especially in public relations and event management contexts.
