MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Your daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: -  As assistant operations manager you are responsible for the day-to-day operational running of Renessence and as such are expected to independently and pro-actively manage a variety of tasks related to customer service, team management and scheduling, marketing, communication, sales and administrative tasks. -  Aside from our manager you are the main point of reference for both our guests and our team, and you are expected to take over managerial tasks and lead the team when the manager is occupied or not in house. -  Ensuring the well-being of our guests will be one of your main priorities; through your warmth, knowledge, and enthusiasm they will feel immediately taken care of and excited to try all the amazing services and treatments on offer. -  You will support the operations manager in the recruitment, hiring, training, leading, and scheduling of team members in various positions as well as the preparation and de-briefing of team meetings. -  You will help the operations manager in the organization and preparation of Renessence related events & workshops. -  You are expected to maintain the atmosphere, aesthetic, and cleanliness of all the spaces throughout Renessence. -  Your responsibilities will include budget planning and you are expected to contribute to the team’s sales targets by encouraging guests to return through treatment recommendations and signing them up to become members. -  You will be responsible for phone and email contact with our guests and together with the operations manager take care of complaints, suggestions, and customer demands. We are always looking to optimize and improve how we can be of greater service. -  You assist the operations manager in tracking stock & placing orders of all items including locker room, massage & treatment room, concept store & health food café products. -  You are encouraged to share any personal ideas, thoughts and suggestions that can lead to the overall improvement of the Renessence customer journey, our off and online branding and communications as well as the expanding and deepening of the treatments, services and products of the Renessence world experience. COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS: -  You are reliable, have a sense of ownership, organized, punctual, pro- active, a natural problem solver and eager to learn, quick to adapt in changing situations and able to handle different tasks at the same time. -  You have great communication, interpersonal skills and a good listener; not only will you be a first point of contact for our guests, but you are expected to be able to lead and inspire a team. -  You are a health and well-being enthusiast with an interest in plant- based & healing foods. -  You have multi-year experience working in a (para) medical, facility, spa, health, hotel or sport and fitness related location. -  You are creative with an entrepreneurial mind-set, sociable, curious always looking at ways in which to improve customer & team experience. -  You are one of the reasons guests return to Renessence and team members come to work full of energy and positivism. You provide a listening ear and are always happy to advise guests on the various treatments, the amazing concept store products and the most delicious food & drinks at the Recharge café. -  You have a flexible working mentality and are looking for more than a nine to five position and able to work evening hours or weekends if necessary. -  You have an eye for detail and cleanliness and are able to ensure that all spaces and treatment rooms look in perfect shape, are clean, tidy and well-stocked. -  Together with the operations manager it is your ideas, thoughts and suggestions that will influence and improve the customer experience, motivate your team members, and inspire both returning customers and first timers to keep returning to our beautiful space.
