Truus
Truus is a sort-of new advertising agency and we make advertising for real people. This means we make advertising for more than just big city hipsters, because the brands we love working for (Netflix, KFC, HEMA, Oxxio and more) have mainstream audiences. And those real people are indeed on Instagram all day, but they don’t know what an acai bowl is. Or HIIT. Or Daily Paper. And so the stuff we make is creative and modern, but also understandable for everyone. Simple but not stupid.
Social Creative (with On Screen Talent) at Truus
Truus is looking for a Social Creative with On-Screen Talent to join our team. Social creatives are part of our video team, and work on TikToks, Reels and IG/FB videos. You’ve probably seen some of the virals we’ve made for HEMA, KFC, Netflix, etc. or maybe you know us from winning Best Agency at the Best Social Awards two years in a row. Not to brag!
We are an advertising agency that just turned 5 years old. Happy birthday to us! We offer all the cliches: a young and dynamic organization, no 9 to 5 mentality, bla bla bla. Culturally we don’t like arrogance or drugs or complaining. We are big fans of boring things like working hard, trying your best and talking about your feelings. In exchange for a pretty high bar you get a good salary, new MacBook, unlimited vacation days and the flexibility to live your life.
About the job
The focus for you will be on two things:
- coming up with breakthrough creative ideas, jumping on trends, creating content formats, finding different ways to get that like, comment and share.
- appearing on screen in the videos you come up with, and sometimes other people’s ideas too, or sometimes you’ll be the off-screen director.
On shoot days you’ll be supported by producers, camera crew and whatever else you need to capture some magic. But you should be able to also make some stuff by yourself with an iPhone and a dream.
If that sounds like a dream job, well it kinda is! But please do note that we work with some of the coolest brands in the world. The pressure will be high and we do expect you to have a golden touch. - that you have experience with making successful social videos that people watch, share and like.
- we’re currently only interested in people with notable experience creating breakthrough social content; that means you should have racked up a couple of thousand likes on your videos in the past – either for other agencies, other brands or maybe your own creator channel.
- that you are fluent in Dutch and English
- that you are nice and kind and chill
