About Oedipus Brewing We are Oedipus Brewing. Founded by four friends in Amsterdam. We use imagination to color the world and we’re always ready to go where our taste buds take us. Oedipus is about fun, energy and doing things differently. We create fantastical beers to reveal to the world that beer is a magical beverage: tasty, exciting, and for everyone. Open your world. Discover your taste. Surprise yourself. Learn something new. Experience that the world is a little bit larger than you thought. Welcome to our universe About Radio Oedipus & Events Radio Oedipus started as a podcast series in 2020 that focused on flavor, art and culture makers. After the second season we felt eager to do more! In the summer of 2021 we turned Radio Oedipus into a live radio station located at the Badhuis in Amsterdam Oost. We broadcast an innovative, adventurous and worldly music program on Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 17:00 and 23:00. From the beginning, Oedipus created fun and energetic festivals, parties and concerts to build our diverse community. Our events are lively, positive, energetic and lead you to always discover something new. This year we will continue doing so within our own venues – the Taproom & Badhuis – and in the homes of our befriended partners. We are looking for a full-time radio & events promoter. You have the spark that brings people together and can surround them with music & culture. You have a passion for finding new sounds and artists. Together with our radio team, you will build on the future of this long-term project and love to create an exciting program that taps into multiple expressions of culture and art.
About the job
- Responsible for booking our weekly radio program
- Maintain relationships with our resident artists and selecting new ones
- Create lively and energetic 360 radio and event concepts
- Together with the community team, build a plan to broadly present our radiostation and events program
- Responsible for your radio & event budget Understand our Radio Oedipus community and expand this further

- You have a colorful, creative, and curious mind
- You are open-minded and socially engaged
- Min 5 years experience in booking events and concerts
- You have an event based network throughout cultural cities of holland
- Have a broad interest in music, art and flavor
- Ability to work independently and organized
- Energetic and eager to build on a community around Radio Oedipus
- A strong love for beer and trying new flavors
- You love to throw a party!
